Frame Relay DLCI Mappings

Ifyou are connecting to another Compatible Systems router, this infor-
mationis n ot required for Frame Relay operation. Compatible Systems
usesIARP (InverseAddress Resolution Protocol) to dynamically
generate this information. Toconnect to other vendors’ r outers which
do not support IARP,y ou must provide DLCI-to-protocol mapping
information.
Note: ManyInternet Service Providers (ISP’s)do not support IARP
asa default. If one of your MicroRouter 1200i interfaces will be
connectedto an ISP via FrameRelay, check with your ISP technical
staffon whether or not you must manually enter DLCI information.
