Using the Auto and Manual Photography Modes

The digital camera offers two photography modes: Autoand Manual.

Auto Photo Mode is the simplest to operate and is recommended for beginners. Pho- tos in Auto mode are captured by pressing the shutter button and letting the digital camera adjust settings to match lighting conditions, focus range, and other environmen- tal factors automatically.

Manual Photo Mode allows users to manually adjust camera settings such as expo- sure and white balance, allowing skilled users to fine-tune settings to suit conditions, and to achieve a variety of special photographic effects.

If an SD card is not inserted in the camera, photos are stored on the camera’s internal memory. When an SD card is inserted, the camera reads and writes to the SD card, not to the internal memory. Remove the SD card to access the camera’s internal memory.
