TAKING A PICTURE

Note:

•Flash will be turned off when Sport mode is selected.

•Hold your camera steady to prevent blurriness. It is recommended to either place your camera on a steady surface or use a tripod.

SETTING IMAGE QUALITY

The Image Quality setting determines the amount of compression used to reduce the size of the stored image file in order to economize space in the memory card or internal memory.

Quality	JPEG Compression Ratio	Description
Fine	4.5:1	Fine image quality can be used for making prints.
Normal	11:1	Normal image quality can be used for general purpose pictures.
(Default)
Economy	17:1	Economy image quality can be used for pictures that will be sent
		via e-mail.

How to change the quality:

1.When ( Q ) Quality is highlighted, press to enter the ( Q ) Quality Setup submenu.

2.Press or until the desired setting is highlighted.

3.Press the OK button to select the Quality mode.

4.Press the MENU button to return to picture taking mode.

SETTING IMAGE RESOLUTION

Image Resolution determines the size of a captured image. Higher resolution images contain more details and have larger file sizes.
