CD/Mp3 OPERATION
HANDLING A DISC
Although built to withstand a certain amount of the effec tsf rom dust, soil and scratches,
discs should be treated with the care normally accorded to c onventional analog discs
(records). Always protect a disc agains t scratches, soil and dust etc. We recommend that
during non-use periods the discs should be stored in the o riginal case.
Bear in mind the following points, since any dirt, scratches
or warping of the disc can cause broken or in termittent
sound and also noise.
When holding the discs, take care not to touch the
playing surface.
Store the discs in their cases. Return them to their
cases with the label surface facing up and pu sh down
lightly on the label surface.
Do not place discs in the following locations:
ĴNear a heating device or a place where the
temperature is high or in dusty areas.
Do not write on the label surface using a ballpoint pen
and do not stick labels on the CD/Mp3.
Wipe away any fingerprints or dust on the p laying
surface of a disc using a soft cloth.
Bear in mind the following points:
ĴAlways wipe from the inside toward the outside of the
disc.
ĴNever in a circular motion.
Do not use conventional record cleaners, anti-static
agents, benzene, thinner or other so lvents.
LOADING A DISC
1.S et the FUNCTION Switch to the CD/Mp3 position.
2.P ressOP EN Button too pen the CD/Mp3 Door.
3.Ins ert a disc with the label side toward you if the disc is up side down, the Display will
show 3 dashes ( --- ).
4.C losethe C D/Mp3 Door byh and.
5.T he Display will show 3 dashes and then the total numbe r of tracks on the disc.
NOTE: Never touch the laser lens inside the CD/Mp3 compartment. If it ever gets
dirty, clean it with a CD/Mp3 cleaner disc.
REMOVING A DISC
1.Ma ke sure the CD/Mp3 is not playing. If it is, press the CD /Mp3 STOP ( ) Button.
2.P ress OPEN button to open the CD/Mp3 Door.
3.Ge ntly remove the disc.
4.C lose the CD/Mp3 Door by han d.
5.R eplace the disc in its protective storage box.
DISC PLAYING
NORMAL PLAYBACK
1.Set the FUNCTION Switch to CD/Mp3 position and wa it about 5
seconds for CD, MP3 disc will need longer time (depe nded on
the size & number of tracks of the disc).
After the disc read completely, the Display will then show the total numbe ro ft racks on
your compact disc.
2. Press the CD/Mp3 PLAY/PAUSE ( ) Button to start play, The first track number
"001" will appear in the Display and the disc will start playing ( please wait for about 5
seconds for music to start ).
3.A djust the VOLUME control to the desired volume lev el.
4.P ress BASS BOOST button to enjoy more bass.
5.To stop the disc temporarily, press the CD/Mp3 PLAY/PAUSE ( ) button once, and
the track “001” will flash. To resume play, press the CD /Mp3 PLAY/PAUSE ( )
Button again.
6. To stop playing, press the CD/Mp3 ST OP( )Button , then the display will show the
totaln umber tacks of the disc
7. To turn off the CD/Mp3, set the FUNCTION Switch to TAPE or RADIO position.
NOTE: Never press the CD/Mp3 DOOR down during p lay, this may cause malfunction
or damage the disc. Always stop the CD/Mp3 player by using the CD/Mp3
STOP ( )Button befo re you take the disc out of the compartment.
If youh itor mov e the CD/Mp3 during play, the music will stop for a second or
two and then start again. This is normal for portable MP3/ CD players.
SKIPPING TRACKS (SKIP)
1.T his function enables you to find the beginning of any desired track during playback. If
the CD/Mp3 FORWARD/BACKWARD SKIP(+/-) Button is p ressed once or repeatedly,
the next or the back track will be selected. This Display will show the track or song
number.
2. If the CD/Mp3 FORWARD/BACKWARD SK IP (+/-10) Button is pressed twice or more
inrap id succession, the play will go forward or backward 1 0 track per press.
3. When the set is in the PAUSE mode, i t is also possible to select the beginning of a
certain track by using the CD/Mp3 FORWARD/BACK WARD SKIP (+/-) Button or
CD/Mp3 FORWARD/BACKWARD SKIP (+/-10) Button to rea ch the desired track. After
selection, press Play.
4. Press and Hold the CD/Mp3 FORWARD/BACKWARD SKIP (+/ -)Bu tton to search
forward or backward at a high speed for a particular point. Release the b utton to
resume normal play when the point is found.
REPEAT PLAY - SINGLE TRACK (SONG)
To repeat the SAME song over and over again, do the fol lowing:
1. When the CD/Mp3 is stopped, press the FORWARD/BAC KWARD SKIP (+/-)Button to
select the song you like.
REP1
“REP1” goes off.

Aunque los discos están fabricados para resistir en cierta medida los efectos del polvo, suciedad
y arañones, debe de tratárselos con cuidado tal como se hace con los discos análogos de vinilo.
Siempre evite que los discos no se arañen y protéjalos de la suciedad, del polvo, etc. Reco-
mendamos guardar los discos en sus estuches originales mientras no estén en uso.
Tenga en cuenta lo siguiente, ya que la suciedad, arañones o
desniveles pueden causar sonidos entrecortados o intermi-
tentes además de ruidos.
•Cuando manipule los discos, preste atención de no tocar la
supercie de reproducción.
•Guarde los discos en sus estuches. Colóquelos en sus
estuches con la parte de la etiqueta hacia arriba y presione
ligeramente.
No coloque los discos en los siguientes lugares:
•Cerca de algún aparato de calor, en un lugar donde la tem-
peratura sea alta o en lugares con polvo.
•No escriba sobre la supercie con la etiqueta con un bolí-
grafo ni pegue otras etiquetas sobre el CD.
•Limpie las huellas digitales en la supercie de reproducción
utilizando un paño suave.
•Tenga en cuanta lo siguiente:
•Siempre limpie desde el centro hacia afuera del disco.
•Nunca limpie en forma circular.
•No utilice limpiadores de discos convencionales, agentes
anti estática, bencina, diluente u otros solventes.
No los guarde cerca al calor.
CÓMO COLOCAR UN DISCO
1.Coloque el selector de FUNCIONES en la posición CD / MP3.
2.Presione OPEN (abrir) para abrir la puerta del CD / MP3.
3.Inserte un disco con la parte de la etiqueta para arriba. Si el disco es colocado de cabeza, la
pantalla mostrará 2 guiones (--).
4.Cierre la puerta del CD / MP3 con la mano.
5.La pantalla mostrará 2 guiones y luego el número total de pistas del disco.
NOTA: Nunca toque el lente láser dentro del compartimiento del CD. Si se ensuciara, límpielo
con un disco limpiador de CD / MP3.
CÓMO RETIRAR EL DISCO
1.Asegúrese de que el CD / MP3 no se encuentre reproduciéndose. Si es así, presione el botón
STOP (detener) (gura) del CD / MP3.
2.Presione el botón OPEN (abrir) para abrir la puerta del CD / MP3.
3.Retire el disco cuidadosamente.
4.Cierre la puerta del CD / MP3 con la mano.
5.Vuelva a colocar el disco en su caja o estuche protector.
Manipule el disco solamente
como se muestra arriba.
Limpie del centro hacia fuera.
