WARNING: DO NOT ALLOW FAMILIARITY (GAINED FROM FREQUENT USE OF YOUR BAND SAW) TO

CAUSE A CARELESS MISTAKE. ALWAYS RE-

MEMBER THAT A CARELESS FRACTION OF A SEC- OND IS SUFFICIENT TO INFLICT SEVERE INJURY.

lf your saw makes an unfamiliar noise or if it

Feed the workpiece only fast enough to let the blade cut without bogging down or binding.

Before freeing jammed material. turn saw off . Re- move switch key Remove plug from power source outlet. Wait for all moving parts to stop.

When backing up the workpiece, the blade may bind in the kerf (cut) Thrs is usually caused by sawdust clogging up the kerf or because the blade comes out of the gurdes lf this happens:

1.Turn saw off.

2.Unplug saw.

3.Remove switch key.
