DEFROST

STANDARD MICROWAVE COOKING

DEFROST

1. Meat setting

FOOD	WHEN YOU SEE MESSAGE	SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

Beef		Meat of irregular shape and large, fatty
		cuts of meat should have the narrow or
		fatty areas shielded with foil at the
		beginning of a defrost cycle.
Ground Beef,	Remove thawed portions with fork.	Do not defrost less than 1⁄4 lb. (113 g)
Bulk	Turn over. Return remainder to oven.
Ground Beef,	Separate and rearrange.	Do not defrost less than two 4 oz.
Patties		(113 g) patties.
Round Steak	Turn over. Cover warm areas with	Place on a microwavable roasting rack.
