1/3 cup (80 ml) food quality or organic lavender buds

6 large egg yolks

1/3 cup (80 ml) granulated sugar

1/3 cup (80 ml) lavender honey

3/4 cup (180 ml) heavy cream

1-1/2 teaspoons (7 ml) vanilla extract
