OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

CONVECTION ROAST:

If you prefer, you can roast meats more quickly using the Convection Roast mode. Keep in mind that conventional bake is best for less tender meats requiring a longer, moist heat method of cooking and for any meat cooked in a browning bag or covered roasting pans.

Use meat roasting charts in standard cookbooks for recommended times and temperatures or see FSIS on page 9.

CONV.

ROAST

Preheating is not necessary.

For best results use with the food probe.

Place the roast fat side up to allow for self basting during the roasting.

Since meats continue to cook after being removed from the oven, remove the roast when it reaches a temperature of 5° to 10° less than the desired temperature and cover for 15 to 20 minutes. It will also slice nicer after the waiting time.

For poultry, be sure the meat is thawed completely prior to cooking. Due to the structure of poultry, partially thawed or frozen poultry will cook unevenly.

USING THE CONVECTION ROAST MODE:

Convection Roast uses the broil and convection heating elements.

1.Press Conv. Roast. Press the number keys to set a convection roast temperature from 100°F to 550°F.

2.Conv. Roast, Preheat and On will be displayed. The actual temperature in the oven will be displayed until it reaches the set temperature. When it reaches the set temperature, it will chime once and the words On and Preheat disappear. The oven is now ready to cook. The word On will be displayed whenever the oven requires more heat to stay at the set temperature.

NOTE:

When cooking if the oven door is open the oven will not heat. The word ON may appear in the display, but this only indicates the oven is below temperature, and will resume normal operation when the door is closed.

Setting less than 200°F – If the oven is set to an operating temperature less than 200°F, during preheat the hidden bake element, hidden convection element, broil element, and the convection motor will operate. After preheat, only the hidden convection element, hidden bake element, and convection motor are used.

Setting more than 200°F – If the oven is set to an operating temperature of 200°F or more, then after preheat, the hidden convection element, broil element, and the convection motor will operate . The oven cooling blower(s) may turn off and on automatically when in convection roast. The fan will stay on after Cancel is pressed, until the unit has cooled.

NOTE:

Please refer to the TEMPERATURE GUIDELINES FROM FSIS on page 9 when roasting meat.

DCS (Deep Cycle Systems) has developed a series of innovative models aimed at enhancing energy storage solutions in various applications. Among the notable offerings in this series are the WOT-230, WOTD-230, WOTD-227, WOT-227, and WOT-127 models, each characterized by distinct features and technologies.

The WOT-230 model stands out for its high-capacity deep-cycle capabilities, making it ideal for applications that demand reliable energy over extended periods. This model is equipped with advanced lead-acid technology, which ensures a longer lifespan and robust performance. Its enhanced design provides exceptional resistance to cyclic degradation, enabling users to benefit from optimal energy use while minimizing maintenance requirements.

Similarly, the WOTD-230 model builds upon the strengths of the WOT-230 by incorporating a unique design that provides extra durability and versatility. One of its main features is its lighter weight, which enhances portability and ease of installation. This model is particularly suitable for recreational vehicles and marine applications, where mobility and reliability are crucial.

Moving on to the WOTD-227, this variant further emphasizes efficiency, offering a slightly smaller capacity without sacrificing performance. Its characteristics include improved charge retention and a sophisticated battery management system that optimizes charging cycles and prolongs overall life. This model is particularly advantageous for users who require consistent energy availability while prioritizing compactness.

Another model, the WOT-227, shares many features with the WOTD-227 but is designed for slightly different applications. It provides enhanced thermal management, allowing it to perform reliably in a wider variety of environmental conditions. Users can expect excellent performance whether deployed in extreme heat or cold, enhancing its usability for off-grid systems and remote installations.

Lastly, the WOT-127 model serves as an entry-level option in this impressive lineup. Despite its smaller size, it boasts advanced safety features and a streamlined design that makes it an excellent choice for small-scale energy storage needs. This model is particularly popular among hobbyists and DIY enthusiasts due to its cost-effectiveness and ease of use.

In summary, DCS's WOT series of deep-cycle batteries provides a versatile range of options catering to different energy storage needs. Each model is engineered with advanced technologies, emphasizing durability, efficiency, and user-friendliness, meeting the expectations of a variety of consumers across multiple sectors. Whether for recreational or practical applications, these batteries offer reliable solutions for modern energy demands.
