To remove the hard-disk drive bracket, follow these steps:
If any hard-disk drives are already installed in the bracket, disconnect the
DC power cable and interface cable from each drive.
Grasp the hand le of the driv e cage do or on the front of the c hassi s, and pull
out and do wn unt il t he arms on the driv e cage door (s ee Figure 5 -13 ) disen -
gage from the tabs on the bracket . This action pulls t he bracket out of the
drive cage about 1 to 3 inches.
When removing the bracket fr om the drive cage, you should remove it
slowly and cautiously, using two hands t o sup port the weight of the
bracket. The bracket can be quite heavy, especially if it is populated with
drives.
