Start datamaskinen på nytt.

Følgende melding vises: Alert (Obs!) Operating in Debug Mode. Please Populate Memory in Pairs for Normal Operation (Kjøres i feilfinningsmodus. Fyll minnet parvis for normal drift).

5. Trykk på <F1> for å starte operativsystemet.

6. Kjør Dell Diagnostics (se 150).

7. Hvis minnemodulen godtas, slår du av datamaskinen, fjerner minnemodulen og gjentar deretter prosessen med resten av minnemodulene til det oppstår en minnefeil under oppstart- eller diagnosetesten.

Hvis den første minnemodulen som testes er defekt, gjentar du prosessen med resten av modulene for å være sikker på at disse ikke er defekte.

8. Når du har funnet minnemodulen med feil, tar du kontakt med Dell for å skaffe en ny.

MERK: Datamaskinen kan eventuelt kjøres i feilfinningsmodus til du har installert de nye minnemodulene.
