1 Genindstil hukommelses modulerne for at sikre at computeren kommunikerer korrekt med hukommelsen.

2 Genstart computeren.

3 Hvis problemet stadig er der, fjernes alle hukommelsesmoduler og installér

et hukommelsesmodul i konnektor DIMM_1.

4 Genstart computeren.

Kører i fejlsikret tilstand. Please

Populate Memory in Pairs for Normal Operation (Installér hukommelse parvist til normal funktion).

5 Tryk <F1>for at boote operativ systemet.

6 Kør Dell Diagnostics (se side 68).

7 Hvis hukommelsesmodulet klarer det, lukkes for computeren, hukommelsesmodulet fjernes og gentag derefter processen med de tilbageværende hukommelsesmoduler, indtil der opstår en hukommelsesfejl under opstart eller ved kørsel af diagnosetesten.

Hvis den der er fejl på den først testede hukommelse, gentages processen med de tilbageværende hukommelsesmoduler for at sikre, at der ikke er fejl på de tilbageværende moduler.

8 Når du har fundet frem til det hukommelsesmodul, der har fejl, kontaktes Dell for et nyt.

BEMÆRK: Hvis det er nødvendigt, kan computeren køre i fejlsikret tilstand, indtil nye hukommelsesmoduler installeres.
