The Dell Fibre Disk RAID Controllers perform the RAID function for your Fibre Channel system. The system may contain one or two Dell Fibre Disk RAID controllers. When facing the rear of the system, RAID controller 0 is on the right side and RAID control- ler 1 is on the left side. The DB 9 connectors on the Fibre Disk RAID Controller connect to the host or switch. The high-speed serial data connectors (HSSDCs) on the RAID controller connect to the daisy chain Fibre Channel loops for further drive expan- sion. The RAID controller 0 daisy chain connects to Fibre Channel Loop A. The RAID controller 1 daisy chain connects to Fibre Channel Loop B.

For more information on troubleshooting a Dell Fibre Disk RAID Controller, see your Dell OpenManage Array Manager documentation.
