If your computer came with a CD drive, use the spare connector on
the existing interface cable. Otherwise, use the IDE interface cable
provided in the drive kit.
3Connect the data, power, and audio cables to the drive.
4Check all cable connections, and fold cables out of the way to provide
airflow for the fan and cooling vents.
5If the drive bay was previously empty, remove the front-panel insert
from the front panel.
aRemove the front-panel cover with your fingers.
bRemove the insert by pressing it until it pops free.
cReplace the front-panel piece by snapping it into place.
Small Desktop Computer
1Gently slide the drive into place until the tabs securely click into
position.
2Connect the data, power, and audio cables to the drive.
