Hvis du vil kjøre Dell Diagnostics fra Drivers and Utilities CD, må du utføre følgende trinn for å få datamaskinen til å starte opp fra CDen:

1Sett inn CDen Drivers and Utilities CD i CD-stasjonen.

2Slå på (eller start på nytt) datamaskinen.

3Når F2 = Setup vises øverst i høyre hjørne av skjermen, trykker du <Ctrl><Alt><F8>.

Boot Device Menu (Oppstartsenhet-menyen) vises.

Hvis du venter for lenge og Windows-logoen blir vist, venter du helt til du ser Windows-skrivebordet. Da slår du av datamaskinen og prøver igjen.

4Velg alternativet CD-ROM Device (CD-ROM-spilleren).
