1Run the appropriate online diagnostic test. See "Running the System Diagnostics."

2Turn off the system and attached peripherals, and disconnect the system from the electrical outlet.

4Verify that the installed expansion cards meet the installation guidelines in Table 3-1.

5Ensure that each expansion-card riser is firmly seated in its connector. See "Replacing an Expansion-Card Riser."

6Ensure that each expansion card is firmly seated in its connector. See "Installing an Expansion Card."

7Close the system. See "Closing the System."

8Reconnect the system to the electrical outlet, and turn on the system and attached peripherals.

9Turn off the system and attached peripherals, and disconnect the system from the electrical outlet.
