Removing the Solid-State Drive

CAUTION: To avoid data loss, do not remove the solid-state drive while the
computer is On or in Sleep state.
CAUTION: Solid-state drives are extremely fragile. Exercise care when handling
the solid-state drive.
Prerequisites
1Remove the base cover. See "Removing the Base Cover" on page 10.
2Disconnect the power-light board cable from the system board. See "Removing the
Power-Light Board" on page 12.
3Remove the battery. See "Removing the Battery" on page 14.
Procedure
1Peel the tape that is adhered over the solid-state drive.
