Replacing the Power-Adapter Port

Procedure
1Align the screw hole on the power-adapter port with the screw hole on the
palm-rest assembly.
2Replace the screw that secures the power-adapter port to the palm-rest assembly.
3Slide the power-adapter port under the wireless-card cables and route the
power-adapter port cable through the routing guides on the fan.
4Connect the power-adapter port cable to the system board.
5Route the wireless-card cables and the touchscreen cable through the routing
guide on the display hinge.

2Connect the power-light board cable to the system board. See "Replacing the

3Replace the base cover. See "Replacing the Base Cover" on page 11.
