1 Press [DSP SIMULATION].

The 5CH STEREO mode can be selected directly by pressing

[5CH STEREO].

2 Press SURROUND PARAMETER.

3 Press D H to select the item, then press F G to set.

The surround parameter switches in the following order each time SURROUND PARAMETER is pressed for the different surround modes.

•When the MONO MOVIE, ROCK ARENA, JAZZ CLUB and VIDEO GAME mode:

ROOM SIZEEFFECT LEVEL

DEFAULT TONE DEFEAT

• When the MATRIX mode:

DELAYTONE DEFEAT

DEFAULT

• When the VIRTUAL mode:

TONE DEFEATDEFAULT

If you do want the bass and treble to be adjusted, turn off the tone defeat mode.

Basic Operation

ROOM SIZE:

Adjust the imaginary size of the recreated sound field space. (Does not express size of room in which played.)

There are five parameters: “small”, “med.s”, “medium”, “med.l” and “large”.

EFFECT LEVEL:

Adjust the strength of the surround effect.

DELAY TIME: (MATRIX mode only)

Adjust the delay time between “0 ms” and “110 ms”.

4 Press ENTER or SURROUND PARAMETER.

• Select “DEFAULT Y/N” and press F to reset all the settings.

1 Use <SELECT/ENTER> to select the surround mode.

To select the surround mode while adjusting the surround parameters, tone defeat or tone control, press <SURROUND MODE>, then operate the selector.
