2Database Edit

A database is created on the USB HDD, etc., so that MP3/WAV files can be searched on the DN-HS5500.

NOTE:

MP3/WAV files stored on devices other than the one for which the database is being created can be played even while the database is being creating. In this case, however, resources are required to process the file playback operation, so the time required to create the database may increase substantially.

Also, when a database is created on a device, the database is reset, so any playlists created for that device are deleted.

Setting the Database Edit mode

At the top menu in the Utility mode, turn the PARAMETERS knob and select “Database Edit”.

Press the knob again to enter.

The “Database Edit” list is displayed.
