Plug the headphones (sold separately) into the
<PHONES> jack.
The sound from the speakers is automatically cut off.
2Press [SURROUND] to select the “DOLBY H/P”.

Listening to Radio BroadcastsTuning in Broadcast Stations
1Press <FUNCTION> or [FM/AM] to select “TUNER”.
2Use <BAND> or [FM/AM] to select the reception band.

When a station is received, the “TUNED” indication will light.
A humming sound may be heard when using a TV nearby while receiving AM programs. If this happens, move the system as far from the TV as possible.
Display of the FM broadcast reception status
•When the reception band mode is set to “FM AUTO” and a stereo broadcast is tuned in, the “ST” indicator lights.
•If the signal is weak and stable stereo reception is not possible, set the reception band mode to “FM MONO” and receive the program in monaural. The “MONO” indicator lights.
