REMOTE CONTROL BASICS
Thisremote control gives you easyaccess to all the features
ofa D ISH Network satellite TV receiver and lets you contro lP VR
featuresof a DISH Network DishPVRsatellite receiver.These PVR
featureslet you record programmingwith full digital quality,
withouta VCR.
Youcan set up th e remote to control the sa tellite TV receiver and up
threeother devices. Thesedevices can be a TV,a VCR or DVD player,
anda third device.
REMOTE CONTROL BATTERIES
Theremote control requiresAAA batteries.
When you replace old batte ries, you should
replace all of the batteries. Use bat teries of
thesamekind,forexample, alkaline or
carbonzinc, and don’tmix batteries of
differentkinds. Alkaline batterieslast longer.
1. Press down on the battery cover’s
top latch and lift the cover off.
2. Take out all of the old batter ies.
3. Putthe new batteries in. Make sure
youmatch the plus (“+”) ends with the
plusmarkings on the battery case.
4. Fitthe battery cover’s bottom tab
backinto the slot at the bottom of the
batterycase, and snap the cover back
intoplace.
