Notice for this monitor
Aside from creating documents, v iewing multimedia content, and other gene ral purposes, this prod uct is also suited to
applications such as graphics creation and d igital photo processing, where accurate c olor reproduction is a priority.
This product has been adjusted sp ecically for use in the region to which it was originally shipp ed. If the product is
used outside the region, it may not operate as specied i n the specications.
This product may not be covered by warrant y for uses other than those describe d in this manual.
The specications noted in this ma nual are only applicable for power cords and signal cables specied by us.
Use optional products manufactur ed or specied by us with this product.
As it takes about 30 minutes for the perform ance of electrical parts to stabil ize, adjust the monitor 30 minutes or more
after the monitor power has been tu rned on.
In order to suppress the luminosit y change by long-term use and to maintain the st able luminosity, use of a monitor in
lower brightness is recommended.
When the screen image is changed af ter displaying the same image for extended p eriods of time, an afteri mage may
appear. Use the screen saver or timer to avoid displaying the same i mage for extended periods of time.
Periodic cleaning is recommended to kee p the monitor looking new and to prolong its operation lifeti me. (Refer to
Cleaning” on the next page.)
The LCD panel is manufactured u sing high-precision technology. However, note that the appearance of any missing
pixels or lit pixels does not indicate damage to the LCD monitor. Percentage of effective pixels : 99.9994% or higher.
The backlight of the LCD panel has a xed life span. W hen the screen becomes dark or begin s to icker, please
contact your dealer.
Do not press on the panel or edge of the frame strongly, as this m ay result in the display malfunction , such as the
interference pattern s, etc. If pressure is continually applied to the LCD pa nel, it may deteriorate or damage your LCD
panel. (If the pressure marks re main on the LCD panel, leave the monitor with a white or black screen. The s ymptom
may disappear.)
Do not scratch or press on the panel with any shar p objects, such as a pencil or pen as this may res ult in damage to the
panel. Do not attempt to brush with ti ssues as this may scratch the LCD panel.
When the monitor is cold and brought into a room or the ro om temperature goes up quickly, dew condensation
may occur inside and outside the monitor. In that case, do not t urn the monitor on and wait until dew conden sation
disappears, otherwi se it may cause some damages to the monitor.
