●To adjust contrast
The brightness of the screen is adjusted by va rying the video signal level.
Adjustable range
0 to 100
Procedure
1. Choose “Color” i n the Setting menu, and press .
2. Choose “Cont rast” in the “Color” menu, and press .
The “Contrast” menu appe ars.
3. Use or for adjus tment.
4. Pre ss to exit.
Note
• In t he contrast of 50, every color gradat ion is displayed.
• W hen adjusting the monitor, it is recomme nded to perform the bright ness adjustment which may not lose the gra dation
characteristics, pr ior to the contrast adjustment.
• Perfor m the contrast adjustment i n the following cases.
- W hen you feel the image is too dark even if the br ightness is set to 100 (Set the contrast to hig her than 50.)
●To adjust color temperature
Color temperature can be adjusted.
The color temperature is normal ly used to express the hue of “White” and / or “Black” by a numerical value.
The value is expressed in degrees “K” (Kelvin).
The screen becomes reddish at a low color temperat ure, and bluish at a high color temperature, like the a me
temperature. A gain preset value is set for ea ch color temperature setting value.
Adjustable range
Off, 4000 K-10000 K (specied by every 500 K unit, including 9300 K)
Procedure
1. Choose “Color” i n the Setting menu, and press .
2. Choose “ Temperature” in the “Color” menu, and press .
The “Temperature” menu appear s.
3. Use or for adjus tment.
4. Pre ss to exit.
Note
• The va lue shown in “K” is available only as reference.
• “Gai n” allows you to perform more advanced adjus tment (see “To adjust gain” (page 24)).
• If you set to “ Off”, the image is displayed in the pre set color of the monitor (Gain: 100 for each RGB).
• W hen gain is changed, the color temper ature is changed to “Off ”.
