- EyeCare Filter
Texture of the paper is reproduced by displaying a t ranslucent image in the foregrou nd of the desktop.
By using this function with the Pap er mode, the screen looks more like pape r.

• Power saving f unction
Suppressing the power consumption*1 reduces the carb on dioxide emissions. This product is equ ipped with power saving
function.
- Auto EcoView
The ambient light sensor on the front side of the monitor de tects the environmenta l brightness to adjust the scree n
brightness automatically and comfor tably. Excessively high brightness may increas e power consumption and cause
unwanted environmental effect s. It may also lead to fatigue of your eyes. Use the Auto EcoView to reduce the
brightness.

- EcoView Optimizer 2
The monitor automatically adjusts the sc reen brightness accordi ng to the white level of the input signal. This
function can reduce the power consu mption while maintaining t he brightness specied by the i nput signal.

Note
• This mon itor supports the portr ait display. This function allows you to change the or ientation of the Setting menu when
using the monitor screen in vertic al display position (see “3-3. Setting Orientation” (pa ge 26)).
• When usi ng the monitor screen in a port rait position, the graphics board s upporting portr ait display is required. When
placing the monitor in a portrait po sition, the settings of your graph ics board need to be changed. Refer to the User’s
Manual of the graphics board for details.
