Servicing and cleaning the icedispenser
When necessary, clean the surfaces of the dispenser
and the ice container that are accessible from t he
outside, using only a soft cloth and warmwater.
Never usecleaning agents with a grinding or
aggressive effect.
When necessary, the feeder and the ice container can
be cleaned after removal of the surfaces accessible
from the outside, using only a soft clothand warm
water.
Ensure that the ice containeris thoroughly dry
beforebeing re-fitted.
If the system is not to be used for a long period, it is
advisablet o switchoff the ice machine and water
supply,empty the ice container and fit the cover
supplied over the deliveryhole for ice in the door.
When re-starting,avoid using the ice produced
during the first day.

Defrosting

Defrosting is not necessary.
Every 24 hours, the evaporatoris defrosted
automatically.
Never use a hairdrier or other heating
appliancesto speed up defrosting. Excessive
heat may damage the plastic interior, and
humidity could enter the electricappliance
making it live.
To change the light bulb
The light is switchedon automatically when the
door is opened. Before replacingthe light bulb,
disconnect the powerplug from the outlet.
Cut the packaging aroundthe bulb socket.
Keep thepackaging on to hold the bulb when setting
it into the socket. Do not touch the bulb with your
bare fingers. Halogenlight bulbs are sensitive to
greasefrom the skin.
Use a clearhalogen light bulb.
When the appliance is not in use
Disconnectthe appliance from electricitysupply.
Empty all foods and cleanthe appliance, leaving the
doors ajar to prevent unpleasantsmells.
If the cabinetwill be kept on, ask somebody to
checkit once in a while to prevent the food inside
from spoiling in case of a power failure.
