Once set, the temperature display shows t he current temperature inside the freezer.
Allow the cabinetto run for a period of 24 hours whenever the temperature setting is changed. This will allow
the temperatureto stabilise inside the cabinet.
It is not necessaryto reset the temperature when the cabinet is switched on after it has been out of use. The
electronics recalls the previously set temperatu re.
Temperature inside the freezer
Toensure that foodstuff will keep for a long time, be sure that the temperature inside the freezer is -18°C or
below. Please note, however, that the energy consump tion increases as the temperature decreases.
The built-in temperaturedisplay shows the warmest temperature inside the freezer. If the temperature is
measuredusing a thermometer, put it between the products since this will reflect the real temperature in the
frozenproducts. It is normalthat the built-in temperaturedisplay shows a temperature slightly above that
measured in other ways.
Switching off
Switch offthe cabinet by pressing the power switch.
Keep the button pressedfor approx. 1 second.
Power to the cabinetis completely
interruptedonly when the powerplug is
disconnected.
Alarms and other features
Door open alarm
If the door remainsopen for more than about 1,5
minute, the red indicator lamp starts flas hing and an
audible alarmsounds.
Toswitch off the alarm:
Press the alarm shut-offbutton. As long as the door
remains open, the audible alarmwill sound anewat
1-minute intervals. The redindicator lamp goes out
when the door is closed.
Temperaturealarm
If the temperaturerises above -12°C, the red warning
lamp flashesand an audible alarm sounds. The
temperaturedisplay will then start to flash.
Toswitch off the alarm:
Press the alarmshut-off button to switch off the
audible alarm. Thetemperature display will stop
flashing.
The red warningl ampgoes out when the
temperature inside the freezer again falls bel ow
-11°C.

Temperaturememory
The temperaturememory shows when an alarm has
been triggered in the cabinet.
The temperaturememory operates as follows:
When the temperature inside the freezer again fall s
below -11°Cthe audible alarm stops. The
temperaturedisplay and the red warning lamp will
flash to indicate than analarm was triggered. When
the alarm shut-offbutton is pressed, the display then
displays the warmesttemperature inside the cabinet
during the alarm phase and the display stops
flashing. By referring to the temperature display
indication, it is possible to decide whether or not to
discard the products inside the freezer.
