8.) To search within a track to locate a specific musical passage depress and
hold the 
or 
buttons. The player will move forward or backward at high speed as long as the buttons are depressed. When you hear the desired passage release the buttons and normal speed playback will resume at that point.
9.) To pause playback temporarily press the 
PLAY/PAUSE button again.
The sound stops and the play indicator 
flashes but the disc continues to spin.
Press the 
PLAY/PAUSE button once more to cancel pause mode and resume playback. The play indicator 
stops flashing.
10.) When the last track has played the disc stops and the display again shows the total number of tracks on the disc.
To stop playback before the disc ends press the 
STOP button at any time. The disc stops and the display shows the total number of tracks on the disc. Press on the CD door in the area marked OPEN/CLOSE to open the door and remove your CD.
11.) Press the 
POWER button to shut the system ‘Off’.
