PLAYING CASSETTE TAPES

1.) Press the POWER button to turn the system ‘On’.

2.) Press the FUNCTION button to select TAPE mode. The TAPE indicator appears.

3.) Open the cassette door by lifting the PULL OPEN tab on the top cover.

4.) Place a pre-recorded cassette tape onto the cassette compartment as shown and the full reel on the left side.

Close the cassette door.

5.) Press the cassette PLAY key to begin playback.

6.) Adjust the VOLUME / and EQ controls as desired.

7.) To advance the tape rapidly press the F. FWD key. When you reach the desired point press the STOP key.

8.) To rewind the tape rapidly press the REWIND key. When you reach the desired point press the STOP key.

9.) When the tape ends the Automatic Stop System releases the PLAY key and shuts off the tape motor. You may then open the cassette door, press the STOP button again to eject your tape, turn it over and play the other side if desired.

10.) When you are finished listening press the STOP key to stop.

Open the door, press the STOP key again to eject and remove the tape, then close the door.
