2)Omschrijving

De flowsensor wordt in combinatie met een transmitter gebruikt voor flowmetingen. De flowsensor bestaat uit buizen die magnetisch in trilling worden gebracht. De elektrische componenten van de sensor zijn spoelen, weerstanden, temperatuursensors, aansluitklemmen en connectors.

In plaats van de aansluitkast (CMF********(R, H,S of T)*Z****) kan ook een behuizing worden gebruikt met een integraal gemonteerde signaalprocessor van type 700; deze uitvoering wordt aangeduid met type CMF*** *****(A, B, D of E)*Z**** voor een roestvrijstalen behuizing en CMF*** *****(Q, V, W of Y)*Z**** voor een aluminium behuizing.

Bij gebruik met een integraal gemonteerde verbeterde signaalprocessor van type 800 heeft deze uitvoering de aanduiding type CMF*** *****(3, 5, 7 of 9)*Z**** bij gebruik van een roestvrijstalen behuizing en CMF*** *****(2, 4, 6 of 8)*Z**** bij een aluminium behuizing.

Een andere mogelijkheid is om een transmitter van type *700********** rechtstreeks aan de aansluitkast te

monteren; deze uitvoering heeft de aanduiding type CMF*** *****(C of F)*Z****.

De voor hoge temperaturen geschikte uitvoering CMF*** (A, B, C of E)******Z**** kan worden voorzien van een aansluitkast, transmitter, kernprocessor of verbeterde kernprocessor; deze uitvoering heeft dan ook altijd de aanduiding CMF*** (A, B, C of E)******Z****.

Rechtstreekse montage van de sensor aan de *700 transmitter heeft gevolgen voor het gebruik van het apparaat. Zie hiervoor de onderstaande tabel.
