8.Make the following settings:
■Set the mode to Automatic. It’s the easiest way to get good printing results on all types of paper.
■Choose the Media Type for your paper. If you’re not sure which setting to select, see page 33.
■For Ink, select Color to print color documents and black and white photographs, or Black to print grayscale or black text documents.
Note: The Automatic setting for Mode gives you the best combination of quality and speed for most prints. For the highest print quality (Photo RPM) on selected papers, click Advanced Settings. See “Customizing Macintosh Print Settings” on page 31 for instructions on selecting Photo RPM.
9.You can also select additional options such as the following in the
■Copies & Pages, to select the number of copies or a page range
■Layout, to select page layout options
■Output Options, to save your print job as a PDF file
■Color Management, to select ColorSync,® adjust the color controls, change the gamma setting, or turn off color adjustments by the printer software
■Summary, to view a list of all your selections
10.Optionally, click Preview to preview your print job.
11.Click Print.
