Dim the room lights and turn off any fluorescent lights. Make sure the projector is not in direct sunlight. Strong lighting, especially fluorescent lights, may affect the projector’s infrared receivers. Also, turn off any nearby equipment that emits infrared energy, such as a radiant room heater. To avoid interference, you can also turn off the projector’s front or back sensor with the Remote Receiver setting (see page 57), but this may limit where you can use the remote control.

Make sure the projector’s sensors have not been turned off with the Remote Receiver setting (see page 57).

If the projector ID has been set, you may need to change the projector or remote control ID. See page 37.

If any buttons are held for longer than 30 seconds, the remote enters sleep mode. Release any button that is held to wake the remote.
