❏Do not store batteries together with metal objects, which
could short-circuit the batteries.
❏Avoid storing batteries in extremely hot or humid
locations.
❏Store batteries out of reach of children.
❏Always remove the batteries from the camera and charger
before storing. Batteries left in your camera and charger
for a long time could leak and cause damage.
Disposing of batteries
Before disposing of batteries, make sure you discharge them
completely.
wWarning:
❏Be sure to securely cover the + end of each battery with
tape when disposing of them to prevent combustion or
explosion.
❏Dispose of used batteries according to the manufacturer’s
instructions and in compliance with all applicable laws.
Contact your local government agency for information
about battery recycling and disposal.
For users in Europe:
Do not dispose of batteries as ordinary refuse.
Instead, dispose of them in a collection or
recycle box in accordance with local laws.
