The camera has no power.
The camera may have shut off automatically to save
power. To turn the power back on, press the button, or
slide the OPEN switch to turn the camera off and then turn
it on again.
Make sure that the batteries are installed correctly. See
“Installing the batteries” on page 19. Also, make sure that
you are using appropriate batteries and that they are
charged. See “Replacing the batteries” on page 21, and
replace the batteries if necessary.
If you are using the AC adapter, make sure that it is
plugged into a working outlet.
The camera does not take a picture when you press the
shutter button.
Make sure that the memory card is installed correctly.
Check the picture on the LCD monitor. If the and
icons appear in turn, install a memory card. See
“Installing and removing a memory card” on page 16.
The camera’s memory card may be full. Check the picture
on the LCD monitor. If the and icons appear in
turn, your memory card cannot store any more photos.
Delete some pictures using the LCD monitor, or transfer
the pictures to your computer and then delete them.
