Connecting the camera to your computer
You can connect your PhotoPC 2100Z to a computer using the
USB cable.
Before connecting your camera, make sure that the USB driver
is installed in your computer (except for Windows 2000 and
Mac OS 9). For installation instructions, see the online EPSON
Digital Camera Software User’s Guide.
Note:
Make sure the camera’s batteries have enough power before
connecting the camera to your computer. If the camera turns off
automatically because of low battery power while connected,
your computer may function incorrectly. EPSON highly
recommends using the optional AC adapter whenever you
connect the camera to your computer.
Make sure a memory card is inserted in your camera. Otherwise,
a connection will not be established.
When the camera is connected to the computer, only the
button on the camera is enabled, and the camera’s automatic
power save feature is disabled.
Although you can connect the USB cable at any time, EPSON
recommends connecting it in the manner described below.
If the EPSON software does not recognize the camera when it is
connected, see the troubleshooting chapter in the online EPSON
Digital Camera Software User’s Guide for more information.
