Problems and Solutions
Refer to this list of problems and possible solutions before
calling your dealer for help.
Camera problems
The following are problems that you may encounter while
using your camera.
Error and status icons
You may see some icons on the LCD monitor that inform you
of some errors or your camera’s status. See the table below.
If no buttons are operated for several
minutes, your camera will enter standby
mode. A countdown ( ) will appear
on the LCD monitor before the camera
enters standby mode. Press any button to
exit standby mode.
These icons appear in turn when no more
photos can be stored on the memory card.
Turn off the camera and either replace the
memory card or transfer the photo data to
your computer, then delete the photos from
the memory card. To transfer photos, see the
