Before You Connect the Projector
Before you begin, decide where you want to place the projector and computer or video source. Be sure to place the projector on a sturdy, level surface within five feet of the computer or video source. The distance between the projector and the screen determines the image size. Place the projector between 2.4 and 53.7 feet (0.8 and 16.4 meters) away from the screen; use the table below to determine the proper distance. (For more precise calculations, see page 45.)
✦Caution: Do not hold or lift the projector by the lens; this can damage the lens.
