Power-off sequence

Keep the following instructions in m ind every time you turn off
your computer and SCSI devices:
❏When you are finished using your system, turn off your
computer first, then the scann er and other SCSI devices in
reverse order of the power-on sequence.
❏While using your computer, do not turn off any SCSI device
which has a terminator that is active (on).
❏Do not turn the scanner off and back on wh ile using your
computer, otherwise the scanner may not work properly.
Now the hardware connection is com plete.
Installing the Scanner Software
To use the scanner, you will need to install the scanner software.
Refer to Chapter 1, "Installing the Software" o f the EPSON TWAIN
Pro User's Guide. If you want to use your scanner over a network,
refer also EPSON Scan Server & EPSON TWAIN Pro Network User's
Guide.
To use the
a start button on the scanner in a stand-alone
configuration, remember to install PageManager for EPSON
(hereafter, referred to as "PageManager"). Using PageManager,
you can also change the orientation and the order of scanned
images.
For PageManager installation, refer to the EPSON TWAIN Pro
User’s Guide.
