Power-on sequence
Keep the following instructions in mind every time you turn on
your computer and SCSI devices, includ ing the scanner.
❏Be sure to turn on the SCSI device which is connected at the
farthest end of the daisy chain fi rst , then the second farthest
and so on, until finally your computer. If you attempt to use
a SCSI device which has been turned on after the computer,
it may not work properly, or the com p ut er may not work
properly.
❏The first time you turn on the comput er after turning on the
scanner, one of the following dialog boxes may appear.
If you see one of these, follow the installation instructions in
Chapter 1, "Installing the Software" of the EPSON TWAIN Pro
User’s Guide, then read the "Power-off sequence," section
below.
