Entering Direct And Preset Modes For XM [Only P´9121]

It’s important to know how to go into DIRECT and PRESETA/ PRESETB modes on the remote when using Direct XM Chan- nel Entry, storing channels into memory and retrieving chan- nels from memory. Press and release the remote’s DIRECT key to enter one of these modes. When DIRECT shows in the display, it’s in DIRECT mode for directly entering XM channels; when PRESETA or PRESETB are in the display, you can store 10 memories into PRESETA or PRESETB.

Enter DIRECT mode on the remote. To directly enter a channel number, punch in the number, using the numeric keypad [12.1]. You may have to wait a few seconds for the channel to appear. The channel you are on appears in the display.
