Using External AM Antennas (P´9121, P´9125, P´9127, P´9128 only)

External AM antennas can be plugged into the ‘AM Ant.’ socket on the back of the radio [17.1]. This socket utilizes a mono 3.5 mm [1/8th inch] plug. For best results, the antenna should be positioned away from metal objects and the power supply of the radio.

Auto−Tuning FM, AM or SW (P´9121, P´9125, P´9127, P´9128 only)

Turn on the radio, select FM, AM or SW with the MODE but- tons and press ENTER [18.1], or tune with the band selector knob. Auto−tune UP or DOWN frequency with a quick press of the UP or DOWN buttons. Auto−tuning automatically stops on the next available frequency with a station [18.2]. Auto−tune can be stopped by pressing the ENTER button.
