Global IP Statistics
The Global IP Statistics report IP traffic flow through the switch. As shown at the top of Figure 74, these
statistics are grouped into four logical groups:
•Inbound traffic
•Outbound traffic
•Bad packets received
•Other types of errors

Global ICMP Statistics
ICMP provides error reporting, flow control and first-hop gateway redirection. As shown in Figure 75,
the Global ICMP Statistics table provides information about error counts found in the following areas:
•In Bad Code
•In Too Short
•In Bad Length
•In Router Advertisements
•Out Router Advertisements
•Out Responses
