Updating Firmware
If necessary, you can replace the SCP’s firmware without changing firmware chips. This procedure must be performed using a PC on which the Firmware Loader Software has been installed. The PC’s

Each time that the existing firmware is replaced, the SCP is reset to the factory default settings.
Follow the directions below.
1. | Visit the Extron Web site (www.extron.com) to find the |
| appropriate firmware file for the model of SCP that you |
| want to update. Save the new firmware file to your PC, |
| and write down its filename and save location for later use. |
2. | Connect a cable between the SCP’s |

10. When the browser window opens, locate and select the firmware file, then click Open to upload the firmware to the SCP.
