The following table addresses the firmware versions running on compatible VN‑Matrix Series encoders. The VNS 104 is compatible with PURE3 streams that originate from encoders running the specified firmware versions or newer.

The recommended system requirements for a PC running the VNS 104 software are:
Hardware:
•Intel® Core™ i5®, quad core processor
•4 GB of RAM or greater
•512 MB graphics memory, Intel HD chipset recommended
•12 MB of hard disk space or greater
•1 Gbps network interface card (NIC)
Operating System:
•Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 3,
•Windows 7 Pro (32- or 64‑bit), or
