Loading the dishwasher
Using the glass support insert
Lean glasses or goblets with long stems against the glass support insert (as shown in Fig. 18) or the cup rack, but never against other dishes or each other. Doing so may make them unstable during a wash programme, and they may get damaged.
You can remove the glass support insert by pulling the gripping hooks away from the upper basket wire (see Fig. 19). This will give you more space for bigger items.

Cutlery drawer and small sections of the cutlery basket
A small cutlery drawer can be found underneath the upper basket. Use it for dessert spoons, small forks and knives.
You can also use the smaller sections of the cutlery basket in the upper basket. Simply prop them against the basket wire, as shown in Fig. 21. Aligning the four indentations on the base of the cutlery basket section with the basket wires (see inset in Fig. 21) will provide extra stability.
Important!
Do not attempt to clip the gripping hooks of the cutlery basket section onto the upper basket wire. Doing so may damage the plastic gripping hooks.
