Using your dishwasher

Warning displays

The dishwasher can alert you to some problems. Should one of the following warnings be displayed, check the table below and eliminate the problem if possible.

DOOR IS OPEN

Close the door.

 

 

NO WATER

Ensure the dishwasher water supply is on.

 

If you have checked the water supply is on

 

and the tap is open but this warning is still displayed,

 

call your nearest Fisher & Paykel Authorised Service

 

Centre or Customer Care. For contact details, see

 

section ‘Warranty and service’.

CALL SERVICE

Your dishwasher may have taken in

 

excessive water for some reason. Call your

 

nearest Fisher and Paykel Authorised

 

Service Centre or Customer Care. For contact details,

 

see section ‘Warranty and service’.

 

 

PLS CHECK THE FILTER

Remove the filter and clean it under

 

running water. For instructions, see ‘Care and

 

cleaning’.

 

If there is water in the bottom of the

 

dishwasher, cancel the wash

 

programme and remove the excess

 

water.

 

Remove any food deposits from the

 

dishwasher.

 

If the interior of your dishwasher is dirty,

 

run it with or without detergent while it is

 

empty.

 

Always remove large food scraps from

 

your dishes before loading.

 

Clean your dishwasher regularly using

 

dishwasher cleaners.

If a fault occurs

If the dishwasher malfunctions, turn off the water supply to the appliance and disconnect the plug from the power outlet. Refer to the Troubleshooting section. If you cannot solve the problem, contact your nearest Fisher & Paykel Authorised Service Centre.
