White Balance
For natural colors, select DWHITE BALANCE in the shooting menu to display the following options, then use the selector to highlight an option that matches the light source and press MENU/OK. The dialog shown at bottom right will be displayed; use the selector to
AUTO White balance adjusted automatically.
hMeasure a value for white balance (P44).
Selecting this option displays a list of color temperatures (P44); highlight a tempera-
kture and press MENU/OK to select the high- lighted option and display the
iFor subjects in direct sunlight.

RWhite balance is adjusted for flash lighting only in AUTO and g modes. Turn the flash off using other white balance options.
RResults vary with shooting conditions. Play pictures back after shooting to check colors.
RWhite balance can also be assigned to any of the Fn, Fn2, AE, and AF buttons using the FFUNCTION (Fn) SET- TING option (P67) in the shooting menu.
