tRECORDING VOICE MEMOS

PLAYBACK FUNCTIONS
1Voice memos up to 30 seconds long can be added
to still images.
hRecording format: WAVE (➡P.102)
PCM recording format
Audio file size:Approx. 480KB
(for a 30-second voice memo)
1Set the Power switch to “w”.
2Press “d” or “c” to select the frame (still image)
to which you want to add a voice memo.
3Press the “T” button to display the recording
standby screen.

If the “≤” message appears, unprotect the
frame.
You can do the following in the recording standby
screen:
hBegin recording: “E” button
hReturn to single-frame playback: “T” button
Face the microphone
on the front of the
camera to record your
comment. Hold the
camera roughly 20 cm
(7.9 in.) away for the
best results.

◆When the image already has a voice memo ◆

If you have selected an image with a voice memo, a
confirmation screen appears. Press the “E” button
to re-record the voice memo.

If the “≤” message appears, unprotect the
frame.

protected.
3Press the “E” button to display the protect
confirmation screen.
