ZFocusing indicator marks

The focus indicator marks in the following table appear when the area of focus is almost in focus. Use the marks to focus the shot.

(Yellow) The shot is focused.The focus is set too close. Turn the focus ring clockwise.The focus is set too far. Turn the focus ring counterclockwise.

MEMO

•If the focus is set to infinity using manual focusing,

position the mark on a subject close to infinity. Continuing to turn the focus ring will move the focus position beyond infinity and defocus the image.

•The image will not be focused if the camera is moved. Use a tripod to prevent camera shake and manually focus more effectively.

One-touch AF function

Use this function to focus the shot quickly. Pressing , the camera uses the autofocus function to focus on the subject.

CAUTION

• The focus indicator does not appear in One-touch AF

mode.
• Pressing		(One-touch AF) when the shooting mode
is	, to set focus to infinity.
