Loading the xD-Picture Card

Although you can store pictures in the camera’s internal memory, you can store many more images on the xD- Picture Card (sold separately).

1 Open the slot cover.

CHECK

Check that the camera is turned off before opening the slot cover.

CAUTION

Do not open the slot cover while the camera is on. This could damage the xD-Picture Card or ruin the image files on the xD-Picture Card.

2 Insert an xD-Picture Card.Gold markingGold contact area

Align the gold marking with the gold contact area.
