SIM card (devices with UMTS module)
A SIM Card (Subscriber Identity Module) is a chip card which is inserted in a mobile telephone or notebook to enable access to a mobile radio network in conjunction with an installed UMTS module.
Follow the instructions supplied by the provider of the SIM card.
The SIM card slot is located in the battery compartment and can only be accessed when the battery is removed.
Inserting the SIM card
►Prepare for installation of the SIM card, see chapter "Preparing to remove components", Page 53.

►Slide the SIM card into the slot (1) until it is felt to engage, as shown in the battery compartment.
►Complete the installation, see chapter "Finishing component removal", Page 59.
Removing the SIM card

► Press on the edge of the SIM card so that |
it jumps up slightly out of the slot. |
► Pull the SIM card out of the slot in the |
direction of the arrow (1). |
